Bags by Brasil presence at Colombiamoda generate new business
Event is considered the main Fashion show from Colombia and one of the main in Latin America. Sales are estimated at US$ 200,000.
The Project Bags by Brazil attended the Colombiamoda in Medellin, Colombia. The fair is considered the main fashion week in the country and one of the main Latin America. The three participating brands, estimate business of $ 200,000 for the next 12 months from the contacts made at the event, held from 27 to 29 July. The Bags by Brazil Project is sponsored by Abiacav (Brazilian Association of Leather Goods Industries and Travel Articles) in partnership with Apex-Brazil (Brazilian Agency for Export and Investment Promotion).
At the fair, the three participants were Karina Bertoluci, Aramez and Mitty Collezione, the latter participating for the first time an international fair. The collections were presented to thousands of visitors who attended shows, launches and many trendy actions in the three days of Colombiamoda. In total, the three brands sold the equivalent of US $ 15,000 at the fair, as well as an expectation of over $ 200,000 in 12 months. The main buyers were from Colombia, Peru, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, United States and Russia.
The Project Manager, Mr. Diogo Serafim, points out that the approach with companies from different countries was very positive. "Our members highlighted the importance of having the structure and the support offered by the project, which encourages participation in other events and, consequently, the international presence of Brazilian brands," he says.
BAGS BY BRASIL - The Project Bags by Brazil aims at international promotion of Brazilian Products, such as business travel goods and leather goods. All actions bring innovative elements sustained in training and promotion as pillars for the increase of exports.
